Who's genuine belief in truth, devotion to love and friendship was never lost in the flamboyancy and upfront "Say what she means" nature that was Lucille - my dad's "LJ"     

Although her life was physically limited during her last years, my mom never lost her reasons to laugh and try to see the good in the world around her.

Her life may have been shortened by a devastating kidney disease, but the most gregarious, independent and determined person I have ever known will never be forgotten.
